I was born as the third child of my family,
Although I am too sensitive in facing difficulties and failures, I recover quickly from my worries because I have very good "take it easy policy" mind.
I was born at Jaffna, the cultural centre of Sri Lankan tamils.
I enrolled at Manickavasakar Vidyalayam, a leading primary school, where I got my primary
education. Other than education, I gained at Manickavasakar lot friendships
that last till now.
I passed the Grade 5 scholarship exam and enrolled at Hartley College
in Grade 6. Hartley College is one of the
pronouned school for secondary education in my country, sometimes extending its
fame to abroad also. Hartley College gave me a lot.
As I wished I entered the Faculty of Engineering,
University of Peradeniya in 1994.
I convocated as a B.Sc (Eng) specialising in the
field of Civil Engineering in 2000.
Having finished my undergraduate studies, I joined the same faculty as an instructor
in the structural laboratary in August 1999. My future plan was to continue my higher studies in North America.
My area of interest for the post graduate studies was Structural Engineering.
Finally I got the chance to continue my higher studies in McMaster University, Canada.
